Awesome selection of draft beer. The food is tasty and the service is friendly. I enjoy going and hanging out.

Third visit and overall it was a poor experience. This time we went mid-week and the place only had a couple tables with customers. Unfortunately even though the server didn't have a lot to do getting a refill, check or any attention was difficult. Even the food was under-cooked a bit. We eventually gave up on our server bringing any kind of refills and had to get up from the table to find her and our check. It will be some time before we visit this place again.

My wife and found the Dublin Alehouse Pub on Yelp. We come here all the time, usually once a week, and we would not come here at all if the service or food/drink were bad. Even the first time we came, we were treated as valued customers and have become happy regulars since. The food is always good, especially the fish and chips which are by far the best around. They've got a chicken burger ground with care with flavor galore and a corned beef sandwich that is my go-to hot sandwich anywhere in town. The drinks I've had are always a generous pour and the beer is always cold and fresh. They regularly have live entertainment, usually bands playing the old standard Irish tunes and its always a blast to sing along while hefting a mug. Obviously I can't guarantee that you will agree, but the Dublin is our favorite Friday Night (and occasionally Wednesday or Thursday) place-to-be.

Because of my detailed truthful review I received a defensive and personally attacking response from this place. Trust me I have never had such poor food and terrible service than we had at the Ale House. The "Smart Alec" i.word.com/idictionary/s… remarks made about me and my party were just an attack and diversion tactic to change the subject away from the real issue. This strip center beer joint should have its food license revoked. But if you want to take a chance on this place, go ahead but know that you have been warned.

Decided to take my dad and the fam here for his birthday. Read some great reviews so figured it would be a hit. Being Brits, we know a real pub when we see one, and beings though this was one night afters drinking it up in the Celtic Ray, the Dublin didn't quite shape up to my expectations. Sure it has good beer on tap, but it lacks atmosphere. There is nothing quaint about this pub, it doesn't have that dark & dingy pub feel. Our waiter was pleasant. We got several orders of fish & chips, I had bangers & mash. The fish wasn't that great but the chips were homemade and delicious! I was stealing them all the time. My bangers and mash was basically mash with two sausages, a drizzle of gravy which had been baked. I asked the waiter for extra gravy. It was simply too dry because the proportion of gravy to mash was way off. It tasted much better with the extra. Overall it was a mediocre experience. The facility is too big to be a pub, I can't ever imagine it being crowded enough to have that pub atmosphere. It's pleasant and they have a darts area and foosball tables, but as far as being Irish, it's a bit of a faker.

We went on a Wednesday night to play trivia. They take their trivia pretty serious here. The place was packed and everyone was playing. The crowd was friendly and the staff made us feel welcome. We will be back!

Wow how things have changed. Take this place off the list. Rude staff is unacceptable and the food was even worse.

Was hoping for better.... I had the Celtic corn beef sandwich which was the best out of the three dinners we ordered. The kids fried fish was a tiny piece of fish, in heavy breading and deep fried. Very greasy.... Had to soak it all up with a paper towel before giving it to my kiddo. The last thing we ordered was the Sheppard's pie. Don't waste your time, order something else. The fries were great, and our waitress was very friendly. Will we be back? No. Should you give it a try? Sure, why not... Maybe you will have better luck

Wednesday night Trivia is challenging and fun. I've eaten several times here and would not recommend the food.

Came here to have a beer and a nice lunch. Staff was real friendly. first time in the place so I got a lot of answers about the food there. Ordered a Guinness beer ice cold and I loved that it came in Guinness glass. Wife had a German beer it also had its own type of glasss. Ordered the shepherds pie. It was really good. Only thing is it was a bit dark for me but not for sure if that's the atmosphere for those kids of places . I will defiantly try a different day to see another side of the place.

A great place with wonderful staff and a nice selection of beer and Irish whiskey. Don't get thrown-off by the seedy-looking blackout windows; the place is actually very nice and the clientele is friendly and fun. This is my go-to bar when I'm in the area.

I went here for a Vino's Picasso on-location painting event. I had never before been to Dublin Ale House, and don't venture to many places in the Cape, but I'm gad to have stumbled upon this one. The service staff was great: friendly, quick, and accommodating (even in a large group with all separate bills). I highly recommend the cheese & fruit plate! Large portion with apples, crackers, and 3 different cheeses (my favorite being the one with cranberry, Mmmm!)

Our home away from home, local pub. The owner, Frank, knows exactly how to treat his customers and make everyone feel at home, plus he's open to suggestions so he welcomes feedback to keep the pub continually improving. Best karaoke in town on Monday nights, All you can eat fish fry on Tuesdays and Trivia Quiz Night on Wednesday nights. Follow them on Facebook for complete event listings and bands & events. Always something fun happening!! English Premier League Football (soccer) matches broadcast and all sorts of other great live events! Tasty Pub Grub served including some inventive items like Irish Egg Rolls (Corned Beef & Cabbage egg rolls), plus faves like Bombay Potato Curry, Bangers & Mash, Fish & Chips and a Chip Butty. Fabulous selection of beers on tap. Pool, darts, shuffleboard ~ something for everyone! Even a private party room!! We never have a bad night out!

Wish we could LOVE this place....owner has NEVER WELCOMED US & we have been there SEVERAL TIMES. LOVE playing darts and the other games & enjoy the Irish music...lots of beers to choose from BUT BUT BUT... WHO are the owners? Is it the bar-tender? You MUST MAKE your PAYING CUSTOMERS feel welcomed and appreciated!!! Food is just OK..nothing special. I'd love to see some EXCELLENT puffy potato pancakes..boxtys..with different filling offered. How about some more potato dishes?? Appetizers AND main dishes? The fried pickle appetizer is GREAT..yum! The cheese & fruit platter...was OK...just apple slices and a few grapes...nice crackers & cheese cubes..the blue cheese was GREAT! $9.00? MOST OF ALL the owners NEED to come to out table and introduce themselves and say THANKS FOR COMING! When we leave...SAME THING! This is too bad because it's nice and close to our house but when you don't feel like you are welcome....you look for another place that is friendlier!

Very large pub with tons of space! HUGE selection of beers, on tap and bottled. Smooth creamy Guinness was delicious! Darts, foosball & table shuffleboard was really fun to play! FOOD was pretty average & disappointing. Fish & Chips is a staple of an authentic Irish Pub & even though the portions were generous, the batter was TOO THICK & greasy. Chips were good but a bit greasy. I hope they will lighten up the batter & where was the malt vinegar? Our waiter was a bit aloof & we had to flag him down, even though not that busy. Bangers & mash were tasty but a side veggie would have been welcomed. Crispy fried onions on top instead of the large chunks of cooked onion might be better but maybe that's a family thing or regional. My Gran did the crispy thin onions on top of her champs...delicious! (champs are Irish mashed potatoes) Overall we might be back for the games & beer...maybe try the burger. HOPE they tweek that batter recipe & take care with blotting the grease. We would be regulars if the food improves! Will try again in a few weeks to see how it goes!

If you are a beer drinker this is a great place for you! Very nice selection of ice cold beers! The menu selection is excellent pub style food. Fried pickles are excellent. So was the Shannon Steak sandwich. There are different types of sauces you can have with your food. I chose the Angry Leprechaun. It was hot, spicy and very tasty. My dining companion had the Sheperd's Pie. I am getting that next time. It looked awesome. :) You won't go wrong if you are looking to have a couple of cold beers and some good old fashion food!

The beer was good when we finally got service. On arrival, we waited to be seated, finally a water pointed to a table and told us to 'sit there'. I would not call all of the food authentic at all. There was a waiter and waitress, a few customers at the bar and a few couples sitting, including us. Our waitress was OBVIOUSLY overwhelmed. The poor kitchen folks came out and stood with plates of food until told where it goes. Obviously mismanaged or not managed at all. The veggies in my Shepard pie was undercooked but the waitress never came back to the table. The bartender was helpful though.
